If you are between 14 and 19 years old, and wondering if you should start the training as a Peer Educator, you should ask yourself the following questions:
1. Am I interested in the topic "sexuality"?
2. Is HIV/AIDS one of my bigger concerns?
3. Am I a sociable person?
4. Do I like conversations and discussions with other young people?
5. Do I like teamwork?
6. Am I reliable?
7. Do I have enough time coming year to start this extra occupation?
8. Can I imagine to work as a Peer Educator with young people?
If you think the answer to all these questions is "YES", then you found the right place
for yourself. Come join our
"open group" to meet people with similar interests, take the
chance to slowly approach the subject HIV/AIDS, meet young folks who are already working
as Peer Educators, inform yourself, take part in discussions and check the ground wether
you want to join our group or not. The "open group" takes place once a month at the Aids
Hilfe Vienna, Mariahilfer Gürtel 4, 1060 Vienna.
